Western Timberline saddles are comfortable for any horse and rider and come in styles for any discipline. Most western models can be ordered without a horn to be styled as an endurance saddle. Options are listed at the bottom of this page.

Bear Trap

Saddle features a deep, tall cantle for extreme security.  Deep undercut swells allow the thighs of the rider to grab up under the pommel to handle the toughest trail or an unruly colt.  Ideal for most breeds and a super mule saddle.

This popular trail saddle with its contemporary design and deep seat gives the rider back support while the smooth slick fork gives comfort for the all-day ride.

All around saddle with a classical style Western fork and a reining style seat.  It's shortened bar length adds to its versatility allowing it to go from an Egyptian Arab or pony to larger breeds.  Full size Western saddle without the length.

Rio Grande
Base Price - $2,580 (Round Skirts)

Deep seated with a good flat pocket to sit in, narrow smooth twist leading to a modest 14 1/2" undercut swell for security.  Excellent when a square skirt is a little too long or when weight is a factor.  Good for ranch work, trail riding, beginning reining, training colts or packing up into the mountains.

This one has a shortest tree in the Western line and will fit a variety of horses from an Arab to a flat-backed Quarter Horse.  It is constructed with a generous flat pocket to sit down into with plenty of cantle for support.  Gentle cupped swells come up against the thighs for security.

SideKick LE

Same saddle as the SideKick but condensed to a multi-functional working/ trail saddle.  Made of the same high quality leather and materials just without all the bells and whistles.  Has been used on Arabs, Pasos, Gaited Horses, flat-backed old time Quarter Horses, Mules, Halflingers, Draft crosses and Fresians.
Available with a Western fender or Endurance flap.

SIRA (Simple Innovative Riding Accessory)

Weight is as little at 19 pounds made and made for multiple disciplines.  Efficient for work and light trail riding.  Thinner bars have created a narrower twist giving an easier "leg under" position.  It has a good flat spot in the seat with a centered balance point.  It also features an out of the way pommel and a deep cantle for security.

The looks of an 1800's saddle that can be dressed up or dressed down.  Excellent for all breed of horses and mules.  Deep seated with a very supportive cantle and medium twist in the seat for all day comfort.

Timberline Barrel Racer

Competition saddle for hard and fast riding with a groove for the forward position.  It features upper thigh notches in the back of the swells with full-sized forks to give this one strength and versatility.  It has a great pocket in the well dished cantle with good height for security.  The front of the seat doesn't spread your legs and keeps your hips and knees from hurting.  This saddle differs from others on the market by having a full 7" gullet for larger backed and bodies horses.

Built for professionals and amateurs as a performance or ranch saddle.  The bars were modified to be thinner at the thigh for closer contact and the leg cut outs to get your legs more forward.  The seat is ground down with a gently rise so the rider sits in the secure balanced pocket.  Swells are straight with a 4 1/4" cutter horn.

Traditional looking Western fork with a seat built with a good flat area to feel every move of the horse.  Smooth curve to the top of the cantle and a gentle rise to the front.  Very thin shaped bars at the thigh which allows for great contact with a 7" gullet.

Timberline Roper

Saddle for Team Roping or ranch work.  Designed with a "down to the horse" feel.  The flexible panels take the initial "hit" away from the horse's shoulders and distributes it throughout the panels.  No more will the bars dig into the horse.  A true performance saddle.

Vaquero

Based on the early 1900's Montana saddle with a deep dished cantle and "Wade Fork".  The seat is nicely rounded in front and cut out for the thighs to give a close to the horse feel.  It is wide and flat in the rear for all-day comfort.
(Previously known as the Rancher.  Still available with the rawhide fork and straight cantle binding.)

Built for the professional Western rider.  The seat has a flat area under the seat bones which creates a secure balance point.  The seat also supports very thin shaped bars at the thighs for close contact which allow the legs to move freely without constriction.  It has a smooth curve to the top of the cantle and a gentle rise to the front.
